1 - What is the driver ?
The driver for the CAEN TDC 1190 is based on the TDC 867 written first by JF. Clavelin at the IPN of Orsay. It is implemented on linux and a few changes have been done in order to manipulate the TDC from high level programming. An overview of data flows is given in the following picture :
