Helium data
Hi Tim,

As soon as you will be login you will be able to download the origin's files. For the moment, only the Helium TDCS in coplanar geometry are available. There are two files:

  • Helium_Coplanar_abs : which is what one can get from the expected normalisation from Brauning et al (JCP 31 1998).
  • Helium_Coplanar_rel: which is a set graphics renormalized to Patricia's data for value of theta1.
As you will see, in the case of renormalized graphics the comparison between theory & experiment is extremely good. However, there is a rather big discrepancy at least a factor 2 in the Helium_colpana_abs (see also the mathematica file if you want to check normalization procedure). Furthermore, this comparison in absolute scale depends also on theta1. The only thing I know at the moment, is that Laurence and Partricia have found exactly the same problem (in magnitude and trend) with the data at 100 meV, but problably for other reasons, according to Alain.

Note: Patricia has integrated our experimental resolution (dtheta1, dphi12, dE1, dE2)
