The sun is rising…

This morning the dark count was less then 2 Hz @ 2100V, I increased from the voltage up to 2250V and the dark count stayed around 5Hz during all the day. I decreased the threshold of the MCPs to 83 mV (check ?) The background pressure is around 4.10^-7mbar. During the day, I prepare the acquisition computer. I had to re-install it since the OS got frozen very quickly ??? I did some one acquisition on the dark count at 2250V, checked a little the code. Everything was fine ! Meanwhile Olivier fixed 3 dead channels from the DS16 cards, and I performed again some acquisition on the dark count and finally reached 83 % of localization. We did a quick check with the gage the count rate with a gain of 2200V. There is some work to do for time calibration now…
